Questo primo numero è dedicato a una iniziativa del Circolo che ha promosso l'applicazione di targhe contenenti dei versi di poeti locali, nazionali e internazionali sull'uscio delle abitazioni dei soci residenti nel paese di Rovito. Un piccolo comune situato a pochi chilometri da Cosenza. In questa rivista sono contenuti i nomi dei proprietari delle case, i versi apposti e il nome dell'autore. Una iniziativa molto interessante. Un numero da non perdere. Sarà un pezzetto di "Sapienza" umana sul vostro telefonino, da consultare al bisogno.
Cosenza e Rende
I cosentini sono persone socievoli e si godono la città in alcuni punti di ritrovo (Viale Alimena a Cosenza e via Marconi a Rende i posti più frequentati da ragazze e ragazzi). È una città universitaria (25.000 studenti gli iscritti ad Arcavacata) ed è facile trovare studentesse e studenti provenienti da Paesi esteri (Grecia, Spagna, Brasile, Argentina, Stati Uniti, Turchia, Cina, Giappone). Questo rende Cosenza una città multiculturale. I cosentini adorano passeggiare a Corso Mazzini e, più di recente, sul Viale Giacomo Mancini dove si può fare jogging in mezzo al verde e alle piste riservate a pedoni e ciclisti. Lo stesso avviene a Rende dove la passeggiata da jogging si fa su Viale Francesco e Carolina Principe, anch’esso immerso nel verde e con piste riservate a pedoni e ciclisti. Amano l’aperitivo e andare a cena a fuori.
