Canfield Family History
Daniel Canfield was born 10 February 1757 in New York. His parents were Jedediah Canfield and Rose Ketchum. He married Elizabeth (Dyer?) in 1778 and they had eleven children. They moved to Randolph County, Virginia. Daniel fought in the American Revolution. He died in 1832 in Lewis County, West Virginia. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in West Virginia and Ohio.

Jurien (George) Westfall (b.ca.1629) immigrated from Prussia to The Netherlands, and in 1642 immigrated to New Amsterdam, New York. He setted at Rensselaerwyck, New York, moving in 1653 to land near Kingston, New York, and married Maria Jansen. Includes other immigrant Westfalls, and some of their descendants.
Joseph Fox, His Descendents and Related Families
Joseph Fox, son of Isaac Fox and Rebecca, was born in June 1758 in Morris County, New Jersey. He served for 6 years in the Revolutionary War. Joseph was married to three women in his life and had 12 children. Joseph died 13 Dec 1847 in Greene County, Pennsylvania. His descendants have lived in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Kansas, and other areas throughout the United States.

The Thomas Phillips Family
Thomas Phillips, son of Jonathan Phillips and Hepzibah Parker, married twice, moved from southern Pennsylvania to land near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, then to Augusta (later Randolph) County, Virginia (later West Virginia); Thomas died after 1790. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado and elsewhere.
