Bröderna Karlsson planerar en rånturné i Småland. När de hamnar i Helgeryd som dörrknackande mormoner väntar frälsningen på dem, vare sig de vill eller inte. Med en stor summa redovisningsskyldiga rånpengar startar bröderna sekten Hallelujabröderna för att i fred tvätta sedlarna i kollekten. Då har de inte räknat med den lokala Ica-handlaren eller den snokande kvinnan från Kammarkollegiet som vill granska Haralds egensinniga bibeltolkningar. Det kommer att behövas ett himmelskt ingripande.
