Alcoholism
This book contains the fifteen invited papers delivered at the NATO International Conference on Experimental and Behavioral Appro aches to Alcoholism, held August 28 through September 1, 1977, at the Solstrand Fjord Hotel, Os, Norway. The editors of the book were Co-Directors of that conference. As well, 65 other scientists from 12 countries in the free world presented scientific papers on ex perimental and behavioral topics of relevance to alcoholism at the meeting. A most receptive audience of almost 200 persons also par ticipated actively in the discussions which followed every invited and contributed paper. The beauty of Norway, the hospitality of the proprietors of the Sol strand Fjord Hotel, the aura of Grieg and Troldhaugen, the en thusiasm of the speakers and participants - all combined to make the conference most memorable for those who attended it. Research Advances in Alcohol and Drug Problems
This is the tenth volume in the Research Advances series and the seventh published by Plenum Press. Volume 10 is another omnibus volume, providing specialized and advanced reviews in a number of areas related to the use of alcohol, illicit drugs, and tobacco. We include also a brief history of the Center for Alcohol Studies that gives Mark Keller's unique perspective on this noted institution. Two of the chapters are decidedly longer than the others-very long chapters have appeared occasionally in the past, and we think that it is one of the strengths of the series that we are able to accommodate such reviews. Again the editorial board has changed. After several years of service, Reginald G. Smart has stepped down. New to the board are Helen M. Annis, Michael S. Goodstadt, Lynn T. Kozlowski, and Evelyn R. Vingilis. This is likely to be the sole volume for which Goodstadt is on the board, since before completion of this volume he moved from the Addiction Research Foundation to the Center for Alcohol Studies, Rutgers University.

Health at Work
This book focuses on the major issues surrounding worksite health promotion programs. It identifies and discusses examples of the most intensively studied programs (such as Johnson and Johnson's "Live for Life," and AT&T's "TLC"), and considers the "state of science" for the four most frequently offered health-promotion program components: smoking cessation, weight control, exercise, and stress management.
