Brigitta is a little girl who grew up in the Wolf Run area of Clearfield, Pennsylvania, on a little farm surrounded by mountains, woods, and fields. The story is based on Inge’s life, but most of the names have been changed. This was an era before highways separated farmland and life was quiet and peaceful. Brigitta wanted to be a ballerina.
This is the second book about Brigitta, Little Girl of the Alleghany Mountains, Junior High and Onward. It contains her true story of growing up in the late 1940’s and early 1950’s, and contains some of her early poetry, and desire to be a ballet dancer. It also includes her sister’s memories and Brigitta’s husband’s memories which involve the pleasures and hardships of farming and coal mining during the same time frame in the beautiful state of Pennsylvania.

The history of Delhi Charter Township and the unincorporated community of Holt is remembered with historical photographs that show the changes over the years. Holt once seemed like a country town, as farmland and woodlots separated it from Lansing; however, many current residents may not recall that era. North Cemetery on Miller Road was annexed by the City of Lansing in the early 1960s. Heavy development changed the land along Cedar Street, and even the expansive Kahres farm with the "best corn growing land" succumbed to commercialism. Even businesses changed, with the loss of the Hartley Grocery and the delightful Country Kitchen Restaurant. Much of the forgotten history of the area, including Miller Road and Maple Grove, can be found in the attics or boxes of longtime residents. Images of America: Holt and Delhi Township showcases many fine photographs for readers to enjoy.
Red Raspberries in October is an accumulation of poems many of which have earned prizes or awards throughout the years or have been published in newspapers, magazines, or chapbooks. As requested by many, I have included poems written years ago about growing up in Pennsylvania before things became busy with highways and industrial parks. The book includes several articles from the well over ten years of writing for a local paper. I hope that my work will inspire others to look at the world with a happy eye and choose those free things in life such as smelling lilacs and or just listening to the world in general.
Snoi-tav-resbo is a twenty year accumulation of poems not already published in other poetry collections. The collection includes serious, humorous, and food for thought poetry. It also includes a section of poems dedicated to the world ́s children who are victims of war and strife. The latter has been on display in the author ́s home town with watercolors by the author. Snoi-tav-resbo is a poetry collection for those who appreciate the light-heartedness of life.

Inge’s poems mirror her love of nature and our Great Creator. One of the many roles she has filled in life has been as a Stephens Minister. Her poems reflect that faith, optimism and encouragement that, no matter what, one should “never give up.”
