I, Tokyo
Magnum photographer Jacob Aue Sobol moved to Tokyo in Spring 2006. He began photographing in the streets and public areas, drawn to the tightly confined reality of the city. His search was for the individual human being in an environment simultaneously attractive and repellant. He hung out with the rent boys in Kabukicho, the red light district. He visited the homeless sleeping in the streets and the parks. Most of all, he sought to understand Japanese youth, the generation which lacks any connection to traditional Japanese culture and values.

Born in Stockholm in 1944, Anders Petersen is undoutedly one of the world's most important photographers of the last 40 years. In 1978 he published Caf Lehmitz, which established his international reputation and is now recognised as one of the classic photobooks of the 20th century. Jacob Aue Sobol is a member of Magnum Photos. A winner of the 'European Publishers Award For Photography' and of a 'World Press Photo Award', he gained international recognition with his book Sabine which was the result of a three year period spent on the East Coast of Greenland.

The World from My Front Porch
An album featuring the best of 20 years of award-winning Magnum member Larry Towell's photographs of family life in rural Ontario. Towell's idyllic and beautiful photo-essay is accompanied by an extensive autobiographical text illustrated with over 160 photographs, objects and songs chosen by Towell. These are presented in an extended introduction and afterword to the book, exploring the history of his front porch (Larry's house was built by the man who first carved Ontario into farm units) and his journeys from the security of his home and family into the war zones of the world. Between them, the photo essay and the accompanying materials, The World From My Front Porch makes a poetic and moving statement about land and belonging, the central theme of Towell's work. Dog Days Bogotá
After completing the shooting of Sleeping by the Mississippi in 2002, Alec Soth traveled to Bogot�, Colombia to adopt a baby girl. While the courts processed paperwork, he and his wife spent two months in the capital city waiting to take their new baby home. "The baby's birth mother gave the new parents a book filled with letters, pictures and poems.
