The anthology discusses the importance of internationalization of higher education and focuses on how internationalization can be implemented in teacher education. Internationalization is particularly important in teacher education because teachers need to deal productively with the increasing heterogeneity of the student body in schools, and are charged with preparing students for life in a diverse society and developing them into responsible, tolerant, and interculturally competent adults. As an important contribution to promoting the internationalization of teacher education, the anthology provides an overview and a concrete insight into different levels of internationalization in teacher education. It integrates theories, conceptual approaches, and different forms of virtual, blended and physical mobility to construct a future-oriented education of teachers. This will not only broaden the academic and cultural horizons of both students and future teachers, but will also contribute to a more inclusive and dynamic educational environment.
Dieser Band fokussiert den Dialog zwischen universitärer Forschung, Lehre und internationaler Schulpraxis. Anlass ist ein veränderter Bildungsauftrag von Schule, der den zunehmenden Anforderungen einer kulturell wie sprachlich heterogenen Gesellschaft gerecht werden muss und in den Lernprozess zugleich digitale Medien didaktisch sinnvoll einbinden soll. Der Band ist aus einem dreitägigen Treffen hervorgegangen, zu dem das Zentrum für Lehrerbildung und Bildungsforschung im Oktober 2022 kooperierende Deutsche Auslandsschulen an die Universität Potsdam eingeladen hatte. Er stellt die Ergebnisse der gemeinsamen Überlegungen und Diskussionen zusammen. Ziel des Bandes ist, Potenziale der Zusammenarbeit zwischen Lehrer:innenbildung und Schulpraxis im internationalen Kontext aufzuzeigen und Bedingungen für einen wechselseitigen Transfer zu konkretisieren.
Kooperationsforschung ist ein multidisziplinärer und internationaler Forschungszweig, dessen Komplexität sich auch in der Vielzahl und Diversität präsenzieller, digitaler und hybrider Austauschformate widerspiegelt. Zu denken ist hierbei u.a. an Schüler*innenaustausch, Studierendenmobilität, Praxiserkundungsprojekte, Lehr- und Forschungskooperationen und verschiedene Formate von »internationalization at home«. Der vorliegende Band liefert eine Bestandsaufnahme der Erforschung internationaler Bildungskooperationen und -mobilitäten im Bereich DaF und greift dabei Untersuchungsgegenstände wie die Interaktionsgestaltung und die Aneignung kommunikativer und kulturreflexiver Kompetenzen, den reflektierten Medien- und Methodeneinsatz in Austauschbegegnungen sowie kultur-, sprach- und bildungspolitische Diskussionen auf. Auch interdisziplinäre Fragestellungen wie das Zusammenspiel von sprachlichem und fachlichem Lernen in fächerübergreifenden Bildungsprojekten und die Professionalisierung von Lehrkräften werden thematisiert.

This volume constitutes the proceedings of the 6th IFIP WG 8.1 Conference on the Practice of Enterprise Modeling held in November 2013 in Riga, Latvia. The focus of the PoEM conference series is on advances in the practice of enterprise modeling through a forum for sharing knowledge and experiences between the academic community and practitioners from industry and the public sector. The 19 papers accepted were carefully reviewed and selected from 80 submissions. They reflect different topics of enterprise modeling including quality of models, change management and transformation, approaches and tools for agility and flexibility, enterprise modeling and business processes, enterprise modeling and information systems and enterprise modeling cases. Additionally, one of the two keynotes is also included in this volume.

Stephen Eric Bronner reads the artistic and intellectual achievements of the modernist project's leading figures against larger social, political, and cultural trends and follows the rise of a flawed yet salient effort at liberation and its clash with modernity. Exploring both the political responsibility of the artist and the manipulation of authorial intention, Bronner reconfigures the modernist movement for contemporary progressive purposes and offers insight into the problems still complicating cultural politics. He ultimately reasserts the political dimension of developments often understood in purely aesthetic terms and confronts the self-indulgence and political irresponsibility of certain so-called modernists today.

Zusammenfassung: This book constitutes the proceedings of the 17th IFIP Working Conference on the Practice of Enterprise Modeling, PoEM 2024, which took place in Stockholm, Sweden, during December 3-5, 2024. PoEM offers a forum for sharing experiences and knowledge between the academic community and practitioners from industry and the public sector. This year the theme of the conference is Industry 5.0 and Society 5.0. The 17 full papers presented in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from a total of 48 submissions. They were organized in topical sections named as follows: Enterprise modeling for digital transformation and industry applications; advances in enterprise modelling techniques; process mining and business process analysis; security, compliance, and configuration in enterprise modeling
