The Lloyd’s Register of Yachts was first issued in 1878, and was issued annually until 1980, except during the years 1916-18 and 1940-46. Two supplements containing additions and corrections were also issued annually. The Register contains the names, details and characters of Yachts classed by the Society, together with the particulars of other Yachts which are considered to be of interest, illustrates plates of the Flags of Yacht and Sailing Clubs, together with a List of Club Officers, an illustrated List of the Distinguishing Flags of Yachtsmen, a List of the Names and Addresses of Yacht Owners, and much other information. Navarro-Valls, el portavoz
Joaquín Navarro-Valls fue portavoz de la Santa Sede durante veintidós años, en los pontificados de Juan Pablo II y Benedicto XVI. Fue el primer no italiano en ese cargo y desempeñó un papel de primer orden en la diplomacia vaticana en momentos decisivos. Acompañando a Juan Pablo II, recorrió más de un millón de kilómetros, equivalente a veinte vueltas al globo. Este español universal, médico psiquiatra, fue también corresponsal para Roma y Medio Oriente del diario ABC, presidente del Consejo Asesor de la Universidad Campus Biomédico de Roma y profesor de la Pontificia Universidad de la Santa Cruz. Murió el 5 de julio de 2017 en Roma. Este volumen recoge testimonios de primera mano, que lo perfilan como un gran personaje de la comunicación internacional, y como un gran amigo, en primer lugar, del propio Juan Pablo II.
