International Trade and Multinational Activity
This study investigates the dynamic welfare effects of exposure to trade in a new trade model, which is extended by firm heterogeneity. It is analyzed under which conditions exposure to trade with firm heterogeneity increases or decreases steady state welfare of a country. It uses a new trade model to explore which country-specific conditions give rise to horizontal or vertical multinational activity. Finally, it combines the Heckscher-Ohlin model and a new trade model with horizontal multinational firms.

Jörg Immendorff
One of the leading figures of the new German Expressionism, along with George Baselitz and Anselm Keifer, Jörg Immendorffs work first came to international prominence in the 1970s. Having studied with Joseph Beuys in the 1960s, Immendorff approached painting through a conceptualist stand-point; his works deal largely with the crisis of post-war German identity, a frenetic relationship with modernity, and a deep rooted faith in the role of the artist as an integral political and social force. This book focuses on Immendorffs works on paper, a hitherto overlooked area of his oeuvre, but one that is crucial to an understanding of the artists work. The Lost Lands of Reljae
On the world of Akris, the race called humans are out of control. With their populations growing to horrifying numbers and their disregard for anything save for themselves has caused the other races to become dangerous to any creature. Alliances are sparse and trust near extinct. In the west there is a disturbance in the Argoth Mountains. Here genocide rains rampant over the races of the mountain. No neutral or good race goes untouched by the evil storm that is about to roll across the world, leaving no land untouched by its wickedness. An entity named Darien Albringer leads a party in an attempt to find the lost lands of Reljae, and a way to save Akris, while the rest of the world defends themselves against an all consuming army of evil. As the war wages on, some of the gods of old join the scene as do creatures unknown to Akris. Deadly warriors of Alanon reach Relkin shores and beings worlds away are recruited as the war threatens to eliminate all life on Akris. This would be the first of many worlds which will feel the might of the evil tyrant's touch should it be victorious and loosened upon the universe.
