The Story of Joseph

Learned by heart and copied by hand in the Volga region for generations, Kyssa’i Yusuf (The Story of Joseph) is today the only surviving work by the founder of Bulgar-Tatar literature Kol Gali (1183–1236) and is here rendered into English for the first time in its entirety by Fred Beake and Ravil Bukharaev. Supporting the translation, which is fully annotated, are forty specially commissioned illustrations by one of Russia’s leading contemporary artists Azat Minnekaev. The volume also includes a facsimile of one of the newly discovered handmade copies of the nineteenth century, together with a full introduction presenting the historical and literary context of the work. Kyssa’i Yusuf, comprising over a thousand stanzas, is an Islamic version of the well known biblical tale, and is presumed to have been a ‘popularized’version based on an earlier Islamic narrative – not unlike the late-twentieth century ‘interpretation’ found in the popular musical Joseph and His Technicolour Dreamcoat. The translation will be of special interest to biblical scholars as well as students of Islamic literature and those pursuing inter-faith studies.

In the Name of God

This book is a quest to look at the history of mankind to answer questions that humans wondered about for centuries. What does God want from us? Why are there so many religions? Who did the ancients worship if it wasn't God? This book is a quest through history, religion, and science to answer these questions and more. It will prove beyond any doubt that there is a creator and he's one and the message he's been sending through the times using prophets and messengers is one and the same. Religions are used to teach people common values that will help them coexist in peace. Unfortunately, humans used it to launch wars against each other in the name of God. Each one wants to prove that their religion is the only one that God accepts and recognizes. God created us equal but different.

Ali Sina, a great expert of Islam, wrote about this book: This is a great book. I read the first thirty pages and I could not stop. This book must be translated in all languages and become available to all Narrating the story in the gripping way of a good novel, it tells about Muhammad, his believer and unbeliever tribal relatives, the Qur'an, and the Arabian society of the period as truthfully and originally as the oldest Arab records make it possible. It does not fail to shock and surprise when one finds that during his twenty-three years of apostolate, Muhammad arranged for banditry raids, secret assassinations, ransom taking, kidnappings, slave trading, ethnic cleansing, inter-tribal war...

On 5/2/2000, you are writing The Resurrection of Noah, which is about "how life works," how the birth and death of souls works, and what the "Bibles" say about reincarnation. Based on many verses in the Qur'an and the Bible, you have a suspicion that the Prophet Muhammad may be the reincarnation of Moses. You plan a meditation session, (a "conscious," though immobile state) to research the matter. And you carefully formulate the question that you will ask. You successfully go into meditation. And you experience this: First, there are the sights and sounds of mighty, swirling winds, and sand, in the desert. Then, the sands morph into a face! "Is Prophet Muhammad the reincarnation of Moses?" You ask. The winds stop swirling, and the sands stand still. "Of course," it says. And you are amazed! In June, 2008, you have a dream indicating that Barack Obama is the reincarnation...

The Maximilian Emancipation

This is Book #1 of 3 in the World/Time Diaspora trilogy.

It’s the summer of 2041.

One year earlier, America elected its first Mexican American president. Unemployment is at a record low, the economy is humming, and opportunities are plentiful…but not for everyone. The white population is now in the minority, with some feeling threatened and “surrounded” by the changing demographics; as if they are on the verge of extinction. These folks migrate to the upper northwest of the US to form an unofficial white ethnostate, which is mockingly known as “the Caucasian Caliphate.”

Some feel the heat of a second Civil War simmering.

A controversial pol...
