The book is richly and extensively illustrated with beautiful photographs by Julio Larramendi. The objects that were photographed from Mr. Cueto's collection cover the whole range of cultural artefact's: commemorative spoons, medals, maps, paintings, movie and sports posters, book and magazine covers etc. While not an exhaustive survey of Cuban influences in the US, it nevertheless provides a glimpse of the long and extensive influence of Cuba on American culture.
