Este libro agrupa un conjunto ensayos de reflexión crítica en torno al pensamiento económico, las organizaciones y empresas híbridas como un cuarto sector de la economía, y el Acuerdo de Paz suscrito entre el gobierno colombiano y las FARC-EP. El libro constituye una propuesta interpretativa fundada sobre una pluralidad de enfoques, en el marco de un pensamiento que se aleja de la ortodoxia económica imperante, con el fin de estudiar problemas de carácter teórico y empírico.
Asociatividad y economía social de frontera
Este libro muestra las estrategias en las organizaciones productivas de la economía popular y solidaria (EPS) de la Zona 1, contemplando la problemática del sector asociativo y la relación de la Ley Orgánica de Desarrollo Fronterizo (LODF) con la asociatividad. Además, indica el número de asociaciones y el crecimiento anual por sector económico entre el 2013 y 2018 por provincia de la Zona 1, identificando también el crecimiento anual promedio de organizaciones por provincia y por clase de organización, incluyendo organizaciones del sector agropecuario, textil, limpieza, transporte y turismo, señalando el número promedio de socios, la evolución de los ingresos, ventas, rentabilidad, solvencia, costos, gastos y rotación de activos. Por último, reflexiona sobre las políticas públicas de la economía social de Colombia, específicamente en el departamento de Nariño, entre 1990 y 2017, evaluando el proceso histórico, los alcances y el estado actual de la política pública de economía solidaria.

How did this music—which has its roots in a black, marginal region of the country—manage, from the 1940s onward, to become so popular in a nation that had prided itself on its white heritage? Peter Wade explores the history of música tropical, analyzing its rise in the context of the development of the broadcast media, rapid urbanization, and regional struggles for power.
