Body Detox

Do you wake up each morning full of vitality and energy, with a feeling of ease at the beginning of a new day? If this sounds unfamiliar, your body may be harboring toxins. Toxins pervade the environment. They are in the food you eat, in the water you drink, in the air you breathe... among many other sources. Increased toxin levels are due to pollution of the environment, chemical detergents in households, and artificial additives in the food supply. The human body is not capable of breaking down or expelling toxins without proper care. As a result, the number of people suffering from allergies or hypersensitivity to various substances is rising. Besides the harmful effects to the body, the ...

Neoplanta, avagy az Ígéret Földje

1748-ban összefogtak a németek, a szerbek, a magyarok, a zsidók, az örmények meg a többi itt élő nemzetség, összekaparták megspórolt pénzüket, bankkölcsönt vettek fel, és a tömérdek bankóval Bécsbe utaztak, hogy Mária Terézia császárnőtől megvásárolják a szabad királyi város címet. A császárnő megkérdezte, mi a neve a városuknak, mire az alapító atyák töredelmesen bevallották, hogy nincs neve. Felkérték őfelségét, legyen városuk keresztanyja. A császárnő elővette aranypennáját, és gyöngybetűkkel írta a latin nyelvű alapító okiratra: Legyen a neve Neoplanta, és minden nép nevezze saját nyelvén. Éljenek békében, szeressék egymást, ez a soknemzetiségű város legyen példája a különböző nációk békés egymás mellett élésének. Eltelt több mint 250 év. Neoplanta – azaz Újvidék – népei azóta folyamatosan gyilkolják egymást. A magyar írónak mindezekről Lazo Pavletić szerb fiákeres mesél.
