Eine Edition der schönsten und wichtigsten Briefe und Gedichte der berühmten Stegreif-Dichterin. Anna Louisa Karsch (*1722) ist eine der interessantesten Dichterinnen und Briefeschreiberinnen ihrer Zeit. In dieser Ausgabe zu ihrem 300. Geburtstag werden ausgewählte Briefe und Gedichte in unveränderter Form, mit allen Eigenheiten und Eigenwilligkeiten, präsentiert. Die Briefe und Briefgedichte sind an viele Empfängerinnen und Empfängern adressiert, von einfachen Leuten hin zu bedeutenden Persönlichkeiten. In all diesen Briefen beherrscht Karsch vorzüglich das Rollenspiel und tritt der heutigen Leserschaft fromm, bittend, liebend, fordernd, versöhnlich, gewitzt, mal verzagt und mal selbstbewusst entgegen.
