In the aftermath of a series of student riots in Seoul, the U.S. Congress rushes a bill into law calling for the complete withdrawal of American troops from South Korea. This sets off a chain reaction: North Korea attacks across the DMZ, Russia supports North Korea, the Chinese remain neutral, and the United States fights again alongside its South Korean allies. The full range of ground, air, and naval forces take part in vicious combat, first to hold off the North Korean onslaught, then drive them back. “A direct hit! The techno-thriller has a new ace, and his name is Larry Bond.” —Tom Clancy “Displays a Knowledge of modern weaponry and war that can only be described as state-of-the...

The Little Red House

Dear Reader, If you can clearly explain what a poet is, please feel free to enlighten me. I contend that no one knows what such a strange beast really is. I know what it means to write something that looks like a poem. I am, however, incapable of referring to myself as a poet in the same manner, as I do not claim to know any truth. I can only claim to be looking for truth. The contents of this book are attempts at reaching some sort of more intense form of a language that is not even mine. I imagine that most people who read these pages will wonder what I am talking about. Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, I cannot help anyone in their quest for meaning. No key, no code, no cypher, no method will help anyone ascertain meaning. But if one sentence gives you pause, if you find one word even remotely intriguing for what it sounds like or says, maybe, then my task here is done. I can go no further.

In Search of Ellen Marie

When author Rachel Rowley Spaulding first saw a copy of the painting of a fishing boats wheelhouse, she passed. Later, when presented with the chance to acquire the original painting, she knew she had to have it. Inspired by the rich colors (and the lure of a great story), she began a quest to find the Ellen Marie, the boat in the painting. This story is really about a boats life, as well as the lives of people and their power to affect others. A fisherman in South Bristol, Maine, put his work on hold to chat and share an important clue in Spauldings search. Ellen Maries captain of the 1960s and 70s in New Bedford, Massachusetts challenged her stereotypical thinking about fishermen and took ...

Searching for Franklin follows the trail of thirty-six million dollars that once belonged to a Mexican Mafia Cartel. The money being transported from back east to the cartel made an unexpected stop in Crown Oklahoma. The money was accidently found by four police officers that know the money is drug money and they take steps to hide it as revealed in the authors first novel "NO PLAN." It has been over a year and the four police officers think the coast is clear so they decide to start spending some of their find. The trail of the money takes a sudden turn when an ex-con burglarizes one of the locations some of the money was hidden. The ex-con reveals to a friend he has a large sum of money an...
