Innovations in Knowledge Management
This book discusses emerging trends in the field of managing knowledge work due to technological innovations. The book is organized in 3 sections. The first section, entitled "Managing Knowledge, Projects and Networks", discusses knowledge processes and their use, reuse or generation in the context of an organization. The second section, entitled "Managing Knowledge using Social Media", focuses on factors influencing adoption and usage, the role of social media in managing knowledge, and factors that influence employees' acceptance and participation. The third section brings into discussion new approaches and technologies for acquiring knowledge. The book will be useful to both academics engaged in research in knowledge management and practitioners who are considering or implementing strategies for managing one of their most important resources.

User Modeling, Adaptation, and Personalization
This book constitutes the proceedings of the Second International Conference on User Modeling, Adaptation, and Personalization, held on Big Island, HI, USA, in June 2010. This annual conference was merged from the biennial conference series User Modeling, UM, and the conference on Adaptive Hypermedia and Adaptive Web-Based Systems, AH. The 26 long papers and 6 short papers presented together with 7 doctoral consortium papers, 2 invited talks, and 4 industry panel papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 161 submissions. The tutorials and workshops were organized in topical sections on intelligent techniques for web personalization and recommender systems; pervasive user modeling and personalization; user models for motivational systems; adaptive collaboration support; architectures and building blocks of web-based user adaptive systems; adaptation and personalization in e-b/learning using pedagogic conversational agents; and user modeling and adaptation for daily routines.
Collaboration and Technology
This book constitutes the proceedings of the 20th Collaboration Researchers' International Working Group Conference on Collaboration and Technology, held in Santiago, Chile, in September 2014. The 16 revised papers presented together with 18 progress papers and 3 invited talks were carefully reviewed and selected from 49 submissions. The papers published in proceedings of this year's and past CRIWG conferences reflect the trends in collaborative computing research and its evolution. There was a growing interest in social networks analysis, crowdsourcing and computer support for large communities in general. A special research topic which has been traditionally present in the CRIWG proceedings has been collaborative learning.
