Entre a pista e a cadeia
O livro de Luana Martins é fruto de um belíssimo estudo etnográfico realizado junto a uma unidade socioeducativa de internação provisória, o Centro Socioeducativo Dom Bosco. Com base numa etnografia “densa”, a autora foca nas múltiplas moralidades e jogos de categorização mobilizados pelos adolescentes submetidos à experiência de internação. Já aqui se expressa o elemento de originalidade a ser destacado no trabalho: os próprios internos, justamente por estarem situados em uma unidade provisória, possuem moralidades e categorias que, como eles, deslizam em permanência “entre a pista e a cadeia”. Assim, o que poderia ser visto como um estudo etnográfico restrito à unidade socioeducativa é, na verdade, uma bela descrição mais geral dos circuitos e mobilidades próprios à cidade do Rio de Janeiro e ao mundo crime.
