Care: Praktiken und Politiken der Fürsorge
Der Band geht dem Sorgen für sich und andere nach und wirft damit einen Blick auf Care-Arbeit in ihren unterschiedlichen Bedeutungen. Als Care wird dabei neben Pflege und der Reproduktion von Arbeitskraft die Herstellung und Erhaltung von Lebewesen und deren Umwelten in einem weiten Sinn verstanden. Aus der Perspektive einer kulturanthropologischen Geschlechterforschung zeigt sich Care bzw. Für_Sorge als machtpolitisch ambivalentes Feld, in dem Zugehörigkeiten diskutiert, Orte zugewiesen und Grenzen bestimmt und in dem Ethiken und Affekte, Subjektpositionen und soziales Miteinander ausgehandelt werden.
Produktive Ambivalenz
Lucia Artner befasst sich mit einem grundlegenden Paradox der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit – der Idee der Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe. Die in der bisherigen Entwicklungsforschung herausgearbeiteten Dilemmata unterzieht sie dabei einem Perspektivwechsel. Mit Blick auf konkrete Interaktionen untersucht die Autorin empirisch, wie durch die Beteiligten tagtäglich dieses Paradox praktisch bearbeitet wird. Trotz unhintergehbarer asymmetrischer Machtverhältnisse wird ein Schein von Gleichheit in der Interaktion konsensual hergestellt. Das paradoxale Unterfangen einer Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe stellt sich somit als eine durchaus ‚produktive‘ Ambivalenz dar.

Das Praxishandbuch vermittelt handlungsorientiert zentrale Konzepte für eine habitus- und diversitätssensible Hochschullehre. Themen wie Gendersensibilität, Migrationspädagogik, Habitussensibilität, kritisches E-Learning 2.0 und Interkulturalität werden theoriefundiert vorgestellt. Im Sinne eines Theorie-Praxistransfers werden jeweils angemessene Kommunikationsstrategien für ein habitus- bzw. diversitätssensibles Handeln in der Lehre dargestellt.
