Diseño comunáutico aplicado a los sistemas sociales digitales
En esta obra exploraremos las necesidades emergentes de los sistemas sociales en línea, las competencias digitales necesarias para su desarrollo, las herramientas posibles para crear una inteligencia colectiva y colaborativa que contribuya al advenimiento de un futuro mejor para nuestros hijos y nosotros mismos, para nuestros sistemas sociales emergentes y para nuestras comunidades de innovación. La idea básica de esta investigación es que el diseño comunáutico —en calidad de diseño comunicacional y colaborativo de sistemas sociales a gran escala, por ejemplo, las comunidades virtuales concebibles como sistemas sociotécnicos— es una actividad de creación de futuro. Los individuos y los grupos asociados a esos sistemas sociales y esas comunidades virtuales se comprometen en el diseño de forma tal que se distribuyen las tareas y los roles en la implantación de los sistemas de innovación que catalizan los cambios deseables.

En los últimos años, se ha avanzado considerablemente en el conocimiento de la distribución de las especies de aves en Colombia; sin embargo, una muy buena parte de la información sobre la avifauna colombiana se encuentra dispersa en libros, artículos científicos, informes y literatura gris, observaciones personales no publicadas, así como en colecciones públicas y privadas. Estos registros, junto con las capas de información climática, fueron la base con la cual se desarrollaron los modelos de distribución de las especies en los cuales se apoya esta obra.

Tourism has been identified as an activity that promotes sustainable development and as abusiness option consistent with the principles of biodiversity conservation. In spite of this,tourism can also be a transforming force in natural ecosystems. Because of this environmentalcertifications have been created in order to inform consumers about the sustainabilityachievements of this industry. The biodiversity conservation component is evident both in thedefinition and promotion of ecotourism, as well as in the principles of certification, but thereare no efforts aimed at verifying the true scope of certification as regards the conservation ofbiodiversity. This work aims to determine the scope of ecotourism certification as a tool forbiodiversity conservation and to achieve this was chosen the Certificate of Sustainable Tourism(CST) of Costa Rica. To achieve this, the research was divided into three phases: Analyze thepurposes of tourism certification in Costa Rica; Analyze the processes that the hotels carry outto obtain certification aimed at the conservation of biodiversity; and, Evaluate the effect ofecotourism certification on attributes of biodiversity.
