Bizi Şekillendiren Kültür – Sosyal ve Kültürel Antropolojiye Giriş kitabı da bu sosyal bilim alanını tanıtıcı bir metin olarak okuyucuya sunuyor. Antropolojinin ortaya çıktığı koşullardan başlayarak diğer sosyal bilimlerle etkileşimini izleyen bu kitapta; kuramsal yaklaşımlar kadar antropolojinin; saha deneyimleri, araştırma yöntemleri, dil, iktisat, cinsiyet, aile, siyaset, hukuk, din ve sanat alanlarını değerlendirmesi de tartışılıyor. Aynı kalan ve/veya başkalaşan herşey kültürün alanına giriyorsa insana dair ortaklıklar ve farklılıklar da kültürel antropolojinin çalışma alanına giriyor demektir. Bu kitap; "bizi şekillendiren kültür"ü, "kültürü şekillendiren biz"i dahil ederek tartışıyor ve iki yönlü bir antropoloji çerçevesi çiziyor.
