Friendship album of Mabel A. Palmer, the first blank leaf signed by her on her 15th birthday, 18 Mar. 1877. Contains autographs and inscriptions of her friends, dated 1877 to Dec. 1879, a few watercolors, and pen-and-ink drawings in the manner of and perhaps copied from book illustrations of the period.
Biographical compilation of writings and news articles chronicles life of Mabel Heath Palmer, the "first lady of chiropractic". Much of the material originated in newspapers published during her lifetime.
