Vom Anfangsunterricht bis zum Spanischunterricht im Leistungskurs bieten sich vielfältige Möglichkeiten, hispanophone Literatur in einen kompetenz-, handlungs- und kommunikationsorientierten Fremdsprachenunterricht einzubinden. Ziel des vorliegenden Sammelbandes ist es, anhand von konkreten Fallbeispielen aufzuzeigen, wie eine Bewahrung des literarischen Materials im Rahmen einer solchen textproduktionsorientierten Literaturarbeit möglich ist. Das Panorama der Textsorten des vorliegenden Bandes reicht von dramatischen Texten über Comics, Spielbücher hin zu verschiedensten Romanen und nähert sich gleichzeitig über andere Zugänge dem zentralen Thema, beispielsweise über den Einsatz theaterpraktischer Methoden, die gezielte Förderung interkultureller kommunikativer Kompetenz und Analysen hinsichtlich des Stellenwerts von literarischen Texten in zentralen Prüfungen und der Lehrerausbildung.
