Innovative Rheumatology
In recent years, the treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis has undergone tremendous changes due to methotrexate and biologics in large part. Until a decade ago, avoiding joint destruction in rheumatoid arthritis was not realistic for rheumatologist. However, prevention of joint deterioration is now possible, and the quality of life of patients with rheumatoid arthritis in long-term has been able to improve by advances in treatment. However, there are still many problems to be overcome before achieving the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. All of review articles presented on this book are explaining treatment, basic research, and patient care of rheumatoid arthritis with innovative perspective and ideas. I hope that the ideas that have been described in these articles help the reader to resolve the outstanding issues in rheumatoid arthritis.

Os princípios da proporcionalidade e da razoabilidade vêm despertando cada vez mais o interesse da doutrina e são inúmeros os trabalhos produzidos sobre o tema; contudo, em matéria tributária é pouco desbravado. A pesquisa que ora publica, para proveito mais uma vez da Administração Tributária e dos contribuintes, está didaticamente exposta em cinco capítulos. Tráfico humano: traços da economia e do direito
Violência, abuso, fraude, trauma, escravização são algumas das palavras que os leitores encontraram nesse compêndio. O tráfico de humanos, no seu nível mais básico, é definido, em primeira mão, nos Estados Unidos, expressos na lei de Proteção às Vítimas de Tráfico de Seres Humanos, lei 2000, como: “o recrutamento, abrangendo transporte, conexões de organizações, ou obtenção de seres humanos para trabalho ou serviços através do uso da força, fraude, ou coerção para fins de servidão sexual involuntária ou escravização”. Ao longo desses capítulos, o leitor é convidado a deixar de lado preconcepções e entender que o tráfico é ipso facto fenômeno da pobreza e da ausência de cidadania em muitos países. Esse tema especialmente prevalecente, insurge uma das mais proeminentes indústrias: a indústria do sexo.
