So erhalten die Jugendlichen fünf Sitzungen, während die Eltern für eine Sitzung eingeladen werden. Die Jugendlichen werden von einem Sleep Doc durch sein Sleep Lab geführt. Er vermittelt ihnen verschiedene Techniken zur Schlafhygiene, zur Entspannung, zum Problemlösen, im Umgang mit negativen Gedanken sowie kreative Möglichkeiten, die Schlafproblematik zu verändern. Die Kombination mit imaginativen Techniken bzw. der modernen Hypnotherapie erlaubt eine abwechslungsreiche Vorgehensweise für die Jugendlichen, die am Ende des Trainings ihr eigenes Sleep Lab konzipieren sollen. Die Therapeuten werden durch umfangreiche Instruktionen sicher durch das Programm geführt und können die jeweiligen Themenbereiche je nach Alter stärker oder schwächer in der Durchführung hervorheben.
