Trends in Colloid and Interface Science XV
The 14th Conference of the European Colloid and Interface Society (ECIS 2000) was held in September 2000, in Patras, GREECE. Researchers from the academia and the industrial sector met and presented research work divided in nine thematic sections: molecular interactions in thin films, polymer-surfactant interactions, structure and dynamics at interfaces, biocolloids, colloids in pharmaceutical and biological applications, new trends in colloid and interface science techniques, rheology, self assembly of amphiphiles and measurements in concentrated suspensions. Selected contributions from these thematic areas are presented in the present volume and show the up today achievements of the Colloid and Interface Science.

Uskoška pesemska dediščina Bele krajine
Knjiga predstavlja ljudsko pesemsko dediščino potomcev belokranjskih uskokov od 17. stoletja do danes. Avtor objavljene pesmi umešča v njihov življenjski kontekst, zato uvodoma posega tudi v zgodovino uskoških preseljevanj, nato pa predstavi jezikovno in versko podobo belokranjskih uskokov. Osrednji del knjige je posvečen obravnavi zbranega pesemskega gradiva, ki ga komentira s folklorističnega, etnološkega in literarnoteoretskega vidika, te komentarje pa spremljajo še primerjalno jezikovne, stilistične, verzološke in glasbene analize. Avtor nam lepo približa miselni in čustveni svet t. i. dinarske kulture, ki je na Slovenskih tleh živel in preživel do današnjih dni obenem pa odpira tudi nekatere probleme multikulturnosti in poskuša pokazati, kako se je to sobivanje zrcalilo v njeni dolgi tradiciji.
