Nossa geração é conhecida por reclamar seus direitos. Somos extremamente sensíveis quando privados de algo que nos cabe. Reclamações mil marcam as relações de trabalho, o convívio social e, não menos, o familiar. Vivemos pensando que os outros estão em dívida conosco... Não admira que gratidão tenha se tornado algo raro, muito raro mesmo! É que a gratidão somente brota no coração de alguém presenteado com algo que ele sabe não ter direitos a reclamar! Essa perspectiva não é óbvia nem natural. Só aprendemos a ser gratos quando reconhecemos que tudo o que somos e temos é um presente imerecido. Calor latente, também chamado de calor de transformação , é a grandeza física relacionada à quantidade de calor que uma unidade de massa de determinada substância deve receber ou ceder para mudar de fase, ou seja, passe do sólido para o líquido, do líquido para o gasoso e vice versa. Durante a mudança de fase a temperatura da substância não varia, mas seu estado de agregação molecular se modifica.
Do Palácio ao Museu: A trajetória pedagógica do Museu da República
Dezoito presidentes utilizaram as instalações do Palácio do Catete, construído entre 1858 e 1867 para ser a residência do barão de Nova Friburgo e sede do Poder Republicano por cerca de 64 anos. Coube a Juscelino Kubitschek encerrar a era presidencial do edifício com a transferência da Capital Federal para Brasília, em 21 de abril de 1960. Com base em Decreto Presidencial de 8 de março de 1960, o Palácio do Catete passou então a ser organizado para abrigar o Museu da República, uma Divisão de História da República do Museu Histórico Nacional, inaugurado a 15 de novembro do mesmo ano. Desde então, o Museu da República deu início a atividades educativas junto ao seu público, uma trajetória cuidadosamente analisada por Kátia Frecheiras. Colorido, fartamente ilustrado. Amongst the oldest universities that of the Roman curia is the Great Unkown; little is known of the university of Rome (and of Avignon till 1378). To compensate the loss of sources materials mainly from the Vatican were intensively analysed and a prosopography of the dons and students (694 biograms in annex) drawn up. Some results: all three were legal universities of the southern type. The curial university was itinerant, it was continued at the general councils. Only when the curia resided there untroubled, the local schools of Rome (and Avignon) became great, international universities and different forms of association with the curial university were tried on. Rome was sought after by students from all over Europe for study of legal theory whereas praxis was learned at the papal court. Another attraction of Rome were the possibilities of attaining higher academic grades without much ceremony (first in theology, later also in law).

Dengue and Zika: Control and Antiviral Treatment Strategies
This contributed volume contains 25 chapters from leading international scientists working on dengue and Zika viruses, who came together in Praia do Tofo in Mozambique to discuss the latest developments in the fields of epidemiology, pathogenesis, structural virology, immunology, antiviral drug discovery and development, vaccine efficacy, and mosquito control programs. The meeting venue offered an opportunity to discuss current research on these flaviviruses in an idyllic setting, and also to develop first-hand appreciation of the issues in infectious diseases facing developing countries and of the research gaps in Africa. For readers, who should include basic and clinical researchers in the field and public health professionals, the chapters are organized to provide a comprehensive overview of the various topics in current dengue and Zika virus research. A unique feature of the proceedings of this meeting is the inclusion of the discussions that took place following presentations.
