Reverend Ralph Watson serves as a minister of the Enoch Baptist Church. He is very devoted to the members of the church and life for him, his wife Jane, and his family are heavily involved with them. First a kidnapping and then a murder happens in this rural town, and the incidents involve members of the church. Reverend Wilson and his family must deal with it. He later learns that the kidnapping and murder are linked to him, which causes him to feel sad and guilty for bringing trouble to Enoch. Reverend Watson's wife, Jane, is also very devoted to the church and frequently solves problems for church members. She risks her life to save her husband from being killed. Despite the troubles in Enoch, there are plenty of happy times and romance, as well!
