The Distribution Network of Volvo Cars Customer Service (VCCS)

VCCS has more than 1500 sales units in Europe, 400 in North America and 500 in rest of the world, with about 23000 employees at its dealers and workshops. The two main goals of VCCS are to increase customer satisfaction and to increase the volume of part sales. The empirical part in this paper is used for illustration of current distribution practices with special focus on spare parts in the automotive industry.
Risk Analysis and Assessment in Perishable Food Supply Chain

However, there is gap in risk analysis for all supply chain of food industry, from producer to end customer. Therefore, the focus in this study is risk analysis in supply network of perishable food and providing a model for finding and reducing potential risks. The aim of this study is mainly risk reduction of perishable food industry which has influence on improvement of public health level and decreasing food-borne diseases.

Based on the above tools the key problem area which Dell Inc is facing is recognized. Mostly based on TOWS analysis the possible strategic alternatives are connected to the problem areas.Furthermore with using company's vision, mission and tools such as Scenario planning and Ranking options the highest priority strategy is chosen.
