Religious Plurality at Princely Courts
Early modern European monarchies legitimized their rule through dynasty and religion where ideally the divine right of the ruler corresponded with the official confession of the territory. It has thus been assumed that at princely courts only a single confession was present. However, the reality of the confessionalization paradigm commonly involved more than one faith. Religious Plurality at Princely Courts explores the reverberations of bi-confessional or multi-confessional intra-Christian settings at courts on dynastic, symbolic, diplomatic, artistic, and theological levels addressing a significant neglected understanding of interreligious dialogue, religious change, and confessional blending. Incorporating perspectives across European studies such as domestic and international politics, dynastic strategies, the history of ideas, women's and gender history, and material culture, the contributions to this volume highlight the intersections of religious plurality at court.

The latest in the 2G Architecture series focuses on the German based practice Amunt, winners of the German Architecture Prize in 2013. The work of architects Sonja Nagel, Jan Theissen and Bj�rn Martenson, who since 2010 have worked under the name Amunt, can hardly be described as stringent or straightlined. Consisting for the most part of small houses, adaptations, extensions, interior fitting-outs and spatial interventions, their oeuvre is particularly interesting precisely because it is produced through a constant and intensive examination of everything that could be described as context, in the broadest sense of the term.

Heimo Zobernig, Books & Posters
The Vienna-based artist Heimo Zobernig has achieved wide recognition for his sculptures, paintings, videos and performances. With works that respond to the legacy of the discourses and themes of formalist, abstract and Minimalist art, often establishing a close dialogue with the architecture and history of a specific place, he is an important representative of the artists associated with ?Kontext Kunst? (Context Art) in the German-speaking art scene of the 1990s. This survey book offers an original and comprehensive overview of the ways Zobernig has engaged since 1980 with an expanded notion of publishing as a way to explore the linguistic aspects of art. Ingeniously designed by the graphic studio Oficina de disseny based in Barcelona, it presents 114 artist's books, monographs and exhibition catalogues as well as 117 posters that, thanks to an essay by Anja Dorn that contextualises them, sheds light on a rarely commented side of Zobernig's multi-faceted practice.

Peter Downsbrough
Like his contemporaries Lawrence Weiner, Robert Barry and Sol LeWitt, American Conceptualist Peter Downsbrough (born 1940) combines a fondness for geometric art and typography with the possibilities of the artist's book. Since the late 1960s he has worked across media (video, film and photography), but the artist's book has proved an enduring format, a place in which to incorporate other projects and compose with text, line drawings, maps and photographs. In 1993 the publisher, book collector and curator Guy Schraenen wrote of his work: "One might call it the absolute zero of the book, since it presents itself in the simplest form." This catalogue provides a comprehensive overview of the 85 artist's books that Downsbrough has published from 1972 to the present, including such classics of Conceptualist book art as And, A Place--New York, Beside, Notes on Location 2 and Two Pipes Fourteen Locations.
