Kozliatka is two stories combined. The well-known story of disobedient children and the big bad wolf is written by Mária Rázusová-Martáková. The other story, written by Jaroslava Blažková, is about obedient children living a happy life, laughing about the stupid wolf with his muddled song. The illustration style is almost stage-like, with an extraordinary sense of colour and the artist walks a fine line of expressive tension. They are made in acrylic on cardboard. The illustrations combine the influence of medieval book imination with the modern view of the artist. (Quelle: IBBY Honour List 2016).
