John Pers was born about 1588 and lived for a time in Norwich in Norfolk County, England. He came to America about 8 June 1637 and lived in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts where he died 19 August 1661.
Hugh Johnston (1801-1847), of Scottish lineage, immigrated from Ireland to Mc Veytown, Pennsylvania, where he married Jane L. Morrison on 17 June 1831." ... Hugh Johnson was born August 1, 1801 in County Armagh, Ireland. ... [He] died in Mc Veytown in 1847"--Page 1. After Hugh's death, the family " ... moved to Osceola, Missouri where the mother and Amanda Jane, her daughter, died in 1866"--Page 1.
