Este libro propone reflexiones sobre las prácticas estatales de la cooperación internacional para el desarrollo desde América Latina y el Caribe. A partir de los casos de Argentina, Brasil, Colombia, Cuba y México, expertos académicos y de la función pública ofrecen perspectivas diferentes sobre la cooperación Sur-Sur (CSS). Neotropical Owls
This book presents a comprehensive biological and ecological information about owls in the neotropic area. In addition the book covers topics such as threats and conservation strategies for these nocturnal birds of prey from 18 Neotropical countries. Owls are a good example of diversification processes and have developed evolutionary characteristics themselves. These species are found almost everywhere in the world but most of them are distributed in tropical areas and about a third of them live in the Neotropics. This biogeographic region has a high biodiversity and even share lineages of species from other continents because at some point all were part of Pangea. Although we still have much to know and understand about this diverse, scarcely studied and threatened group this work aims to be a precedent for future and further research on the subject.

Perú, Bolivia y Chile en el siglo XXI
La relación entre Perú, Bolivia y Chile ha sido históricamente complicada. Si bien existieron espacios de cooperación a nivel bilateral y multilateral, el vínculo también presenta dinámicas que alejaron a los tres países. Por ello, la presente investigación busca contribuir en el desarrollo de una mayor cooperación entre Perú, Bolivia y Chile, al identificar la existencia de una agenda de carácter trinacional en el siglo XXI que permita pensar la relación en otros términos. Esta perspectiva de carácter trinacional no está carente de dificultades, pero resulta necesaria para que Perú, Bolivia y Chile puedan satisfacer de forma conjunta intereses comunes, sobre todo a nivel fronterizo.
