Ormigo's report on the actions taken to protect the interests of the Crown following the sudden death of Don Leonardo Temblador, customs and tax administrator for the district of Cholula. In Ormigo's statement, dated in Huejotzingo November 4, 1796, he reports that, upon learning of Temblador's death, he notified the proper authorities and took charge of the accounts and possessions of the deceased in order to protect the king's interests. The report continues from San Martín Texmelucan, where Ormigo views the body and verifies Temblador's death.
