The Walter W. Hollis Oral History Transcript consists of a 48 page transcribed oral history interview. He recalls some of his World War II experiences in a chemical unit. He also describes his jobs and projects at Frankford Arsenal in optics. According to Hollis, he was the lead engineer for the fire control system for the Sheridan combat vehicle. Hollis spent time at Fort Ord, California with the Combat Development Experimentation Command. A major project there involved armed helicopters. While Hollis was at Operational Test and Evaluation Agency, he assisted with testing equipment. He briefly shares some of his contributions.
