De setting biedt mogelijkheden voor een creatief decor, met vooral veel al dan niet bewegende beelden van aquariumvissen, maar dat is niet strikt noodzakelijk. Daarnaast is het handig als de actrice die Irina speelt een Oosteuropees accent heeft, en de acteur die Dieter speelt een Duits accent. De schrijvers hopen dat dit stuk aanknopingspunten biedt. Als het stuk is aangeschaft, staat het eenieder vrij om een uitvoering te doen. Wel vinden de schrijvers het erg leuk om te horen of er een uitvoering heeft plaatsgevonden en wat de ervaringen zijn met dit stuk. Hoewel er geen beperkingen zijn aan de leeftijd of gevoeligheid van het publiek, is het niet specifiek een stuk voor kindertheater.
