Bild-Konzeptionen in Bilder- und Kinderbibeln
Die Kinderbibel als eines der zentralen Medien in der Geschichte der evangelischen Religionspädagogik ist erst in den letzten drei Jahrzehnten verstärkt in den Fokus der Forschung getreten. Dabei ist erstaunlich, dass das Bild als auffallendes Element dieser Gattung bisher kaum zusammenhängend erforscht wurde. Die Autorin widmet sich dieser Forschungslücke und entwickelt ein analytisches Instrumentarium. Es ermöglicht die Untersuchung der auf das Gesamtwerk und Einzelbild bezogenen Bildkonzeptionen in Form eines funktional aufgefächerten Spektrums. Die entwickelten Bildkonzeptionen tragen dazu bei, die Bildsprache alter und neuer Bilder- und Kinderbibeln in religionspädagogischen Kontexten neu und zum Teil überraschend zu deuten.

In addition to critical studies of the iconography of the illuminations, the authors provide the history of the manuscript and the political and cultural setting in which it was produced, and the history of the monastery and school of Glajor.
