Robert Wright was born 4 December 1833 in Finnard, County Down, Ireland. His parents were William Wright and Jane Niblock. He married Eliza Sloan, daughter of John Sloan, 16 December 1863. They had eight children. Robert died in 1878. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Ireland, England, New Zealand, Arizona and California.
