The 83 pages of mazes in this book would be very easy to solve if they were presented as traditional mazes, but they are not. The challenge in this book is to discover what is path and what is border, and to do that you must decode the maze by solving matching puzzles, letter puzzles, number, arithmetic and logic problems, and even some simple word-search and Sudoku puzzles. Because the main task is to decode the maze, the solutions section at the end shows all the passageways of the mazes in a simplified form, not just the correct paths. Although some of the puzzles can be worked by young children, most are more appropriate for older children and adults.
