Què diferencia un text de la llengua general, produït en una situació quotidiana, d’un text científic, tècnic o jurídic, produït en una situació professional? Per què en català l’equivalent de bullying és la forma assetjament escolar? Què és un terme? Com es fa un diccionari sobre un tema d’especialitat? Aquestes són algunes de les preguntes a les quals vol donar resposta aquest llibre, que us ofereix una aproximació a la terminologia, entesa com a camp de coneixement i com a camp de treball l'objecte central dels quals és el terme o la unitat lèxica especialitzada.

CLARIN, the "Common Language Resources and Technology Infrastructure", has established itself as a major player in the field of research infrastructures for the humanities.
