Excerpt from The West Parish Church: Salisbury, Mass, One Hundredth Anniversary, June 17, 1885 Two years ago the subject of holding an anniversary service in the church was suggested by a few persons, and the same was noticed by the local press. As the time approached, members of the parish and interested friends sug gested that a meeting be called for the purpose. Accordingly, on the evening of February'21, 1885, such a meeting was held at the parsonage-house, and was called to order by Dr. A. T. Brown. Robert Drummond was chosen president and Wm. F.
