La formación de los entrenadores en baloncesto. Aplicaciones didácticas
Considerando que los entrenadores desempeñan un papel importante en todos los niveles del deporte; el estudio y análisis del entrenador y del desarrollo de su pericia representa un objetivo esencial en el entrenamiento de alto rendimiento para la búsqueda de la excelencia deportiva. Encontrar las claves para llegar a la excelencia debe constituir uno de los objetivos principales por parte de los investigadores en todos los campos, no sólo en el deporte. Por ello, con el presente estudio se pretende conocer como han desarrollado su pericia dieciséis entrenadores españoles, expertos, de élite y formación en baloncesto. Para ello, analizaremos las etapas evolutivas en el desarrollo de su pericia, así como estudiaremos los factores y medios de formación que han permitido a estos expertos sobresalir.
Environmental and Microbiological Monitoring Protocol for Conservation of Rock-Art Caves
Cave heritage is often threatened by tourism or even scientific activities, which can lead to irreversible deterioration. We present a preventive conservation monitoring protocol to protect caves with rock art, focusing on La Garma Cave (Spain), a World Heritage Site with valuable archaeological materials and Palaeolithic paintings. This study assessed the suitability of the cave for tourist use through continuous microclimate monitoring, biofilm analysis, aerobiological monitoring and experimental visits. Our findings indicate several factors that make it inadvisable to adapt the cave for tourist use. Human presence and transit within the cave cause cumulative effects on the temperature of environmentally very stable and fragile sectors and significant resuspension of particles from the cave sediments. These environmental perturbations represent severe impacts as they affect the natural aerodynamic control of suspended particles and determine bacterial dispersal throughout the cave. This monitoring protocol provides evidence-based strategies for sustainable cave management.

Many caves are associated with karst topography, which is formed by the dissolution of soluble bedrock, such as limestone, dolomite and gypsum, in areas where groundwaters are undersaturated with respect to the minerals in the host rock.
