Rawlinson Family Letters
Includes electrostatic copies of letters from William Rawlinson in New York (1837 and 1838) and Grayville, Ill. (1844) to his mother Rachel Rawlinson, in and around London, England. The 1850 U.S. census for White County, Ill., shows English-born Rachel Rowlinson (age 83) living in the household of English-born William Rowlinson (age 57), a farmer.
Richard Rawlinson
Biography of Richard Rawlinson who was born 3 January 1690 in London, England. He was the son of Thomas Rawlinson and Mary Taylor. Richard attended St. John's College Oxford, England and recieved the degree of D.C.L. He lived his life in England but never married. Richard died in the year 1755 in England.
