Digital Transformation in Semiconductor Manufacturing

James Marion Keith, George Washington Keith and Thomas Jefferson Keith were brothers who were born in Fairfield County, South Carolina. In 1853 their mother Sarah gave land to George and Thomas. Sarah was the daughter of George Shedd. James Marion Keith married Keturah Elizabeth Muse. George Washington Keith had three wives, Martha Lenora Gunnell, Harriet Louise Sharp and Mary E. Abell. Thomas Jefferson Keith married Mary A., surname unknown.

Flussorientierte Gestaltung von Produktionssystemen
Sehr kurze Produktlebenszyklen und ein starker Preisverfall fordern von Unternehmen der Hightech-Branche eine hohe Innovationsgeschwindigkeit. Diese resultiert in einem kontinuierlichen Veränderungsbedarf der Produkte und Produktionsprozesse. Daher sind Halbleiterfabriken fast ausnahmslos nach dem Verrichtungsprinzip organisiert, welches zwar eine hohe Flexibilität aufweist, jedoch zu hohen Beständen, langen Durchlaufzeiten und einer geringen Termintreue führt. Sophia Keil zeigt auf, wie mittels einer fünfstufigen Planungsmethode der Wandel von Produktionssystemen hin zur Flussorientierung erfolgen kann. Die Anwendung der Methode in der Unternehmenspraxis zeigte Durchlaufzeitreduzierungspotenziale im Bereich von 40-50 Prozent.
