Comparison of Resonance Integrals of Cross Sections from JEFF-3.2 Library for Some Problematic Reactions
The quality of the capture cross sections in JEFF-3.2 for a selection of nuclides has been assessed in comparison to other evaluated nuclear data libraries (ENDF/B-VII. 1, JENDL- 4.0, TENDL-2014 and IRDFF v1.05). The incident neutron capture reactions of this nuclides have been compared to experimental data from the EXFOR database in terms of resonance integrals and, where available, energy dependent data. Recommendations for next version of the JEFF library have been given. For 55Mn, JEFF-3.2 is strongly recommended. For 58Fe and 176,178Hf, JEFF-3.2 is recommended. For 93Nb and 148Nd, JEFF-3.2 is not recommended. For those two nuclides, the capture cross section from JENDL-4.0 is recommended.
Chiral Dynamics: Theory and Experiment
Chiral dynamics provides a rigorous and model-independent methodology for making QCD predictions at the confinement scale. This helps particularly in the testing of the standard model. The workshop reported here was focused on theoretical predictions and the measurements of physical processes, analyzing carefully the phenomenology needed to bridge the gap between the two. Besides the lectures, this volume also contains summaries of the working groups on Â-Â-scattering, ÂN-interaction, photo/electro-pion-production, and on chiral anomaly. This book is a thorough review of the state of the art and it addresses researchers as well as graduate students.
Reactor Dosimetry State Of The Art 2008 - Proceedings Of The 13th International Symposium
This book gives the state of the art in the field of reactor dosimetry as applied in nuclear power plants and research reactors. Surveillance programs are presented for nuclear power plants in Europe, including Russia and Ukraine, USA, Argentina and Korea. New cross-section measurements from most of the European, American and Japanese research reactors are reported. The latest developments in computer code development for radiation transport and shielding calculations, and radiation measurement techniques are also highlighted.

Transactions of the International Astronomical Union
IAU Transactions XXIIB summarizes the work of the XXIInd General Assembly. The discourses given during the Inaugural and Closing Ceremonies are reproduced in Chapters I and III, respectively. The proceedings of the two sessions of the General Assembly will be found in Chapter II, which includes the Resolutions and the report of the Finance Committee. The Statutes, Bye-Laws and a few working rules of the Union are published in Chapter IV. The Accounts and other aspects of the administration of the Union are recorded in Chapter V, together with the report of the Executive Committee for this last triennium, and provide the permanent record for the Union in the period 1991-1994. This volume also contains the Commission reports from The Hague compiled by the Presidents of the Commissions (Chapter VI). Finally, Chapter VII contains the list of countries adhering to the Union and the alphabetical, geographical and commission membership lists of about 8000 individual members. The IAU still appears to be unique among the scientific Unions in maintaining this category of individual membership which contributes in a crucial way to the spirit and the aims of the Union.
