"Poemas 1999-2014" reúne os seis livros de poesia de Tarso de Melo (Santo André, 1976) e poemas esparsos mais recentes, marcando os 15 anos da edição do primeiro de seus livros, "A lapso", de 1999, que foi seguido por "Carbono" (2002), "Planos de fuga e outros poemas" (2005), "Lugar algum" (2007), "Exames de rotina" (2008) e "Caderno inquieto" (2012), todos lançados originalmente em alguns dos mais prestigiados catálogos da poesia brasileira contemporânea. Nas palavras do poeta e crítico Guilherme Gontijo Flores, a obra de Tarso de Melo, "além de impressionar pelos poemas, o que mais chama atenção – a meu ver – é o percurso. Tanto o percurso interno dos livros, onde estão cada um dos poemas, quanto o percurso maior entre os livros (...). Esse percurso é marcado por uma crescente concretude (nada de concretismo) da linguagem e dos temas – Tarso faz parte de uma tradição de embate com o espaço urbano, de confrontamento direto com o presente, em que a poesia não serve de subterfúgio, escapatória, ou salvação. (...) É nesse mundo em conflito, permeado de dor e do desejo de poesia, que sua poesia caminha".

Celebrating Twenty Years of the Brazilian Symposium on Cardiovascular Physiology
This e-book is dedicated to the celebration of 20 years of the Brazilian Symposium on Cardiovascular Physiology. In 1996 groups from the School of Medicine of Ribeirao Preto, University of Sao Paulo (FMRP-USP) and from the Federal University of Sao Paulo (UNIFESP) joined together to discuss cardiovascular physiology. In subsequent editions of the meeting, the participation of other groups from all over the country has grown and acquired the status of a national symposium. The participants now agree that the symposium should be itinerant and that the chair group is responsible for its organization. In 2016, we proudly reached the 20th edition of the Brazilian Symposium on Cardiovascular Physiology. It is certainly a memorable date and a great opportunity to share the accomplishments of Brazilian groups in the field of cardiovascular physiology.
