Chrysomeloidea II (Orsodacnidae, Megalopodidae, Chrysomelidae) – Part 1
Volume 6/2 of the Catalogue of Palaearctic Coleoptera focuses on the second part of the beetle superfamily Chrysomeloidea reported from the Palaearctic biogeographic region. For the genus and species-groups taxa all relevant names are given and all nomenclatural data are cross-checked and the distribution of species and subspecies is given per country or smaller region. A group of 14 experts have worked to collect data based on a critical review of published sources including a significant amount of new information. This volume is also a tool for specialists as well as amateurs, which warrants unambiguous communication.

The Slovene Mountain Trail
A guidebook to trekking the Slovene Mountain Trail, crossing Slovenia from Austria to the Adriatic. The 550km route is presented in a series of 12 3 to 6-day treks of all levels of difficulty, all featuring start and finish points that can be accessed by public transport. Rickettsiology
Rickettsial diseases, which include typhus, spotted fever, trench fever and Q fever, are very serious infectious diseases. Rickettsiae organisms also are of interest to researchers because they have been used as bioweapons, and can serve as agents for bioterrorism. In addition, they are biologically very successful organisms despite their relatively small genome. The papers in this volume are taken from the International Conference on Rickettsiae and Rickettsial Diseases, held in Ljubljana in 2002. They include state-of-the-art discussions of functional genomics, proteomics, epidemiology, ecology and clinical and diagnostic medicine.
Ticks of Europe and North Africa
This book includes descriptive keys for identifying every stage of all the species of ticks reported in Europe and northern Africa. It includes descriptive texts on the ecology and prominent features of each species, together with ink illustrations and distribution maps of more than 60 species of hard and soft ticks. The text for each species was prepared by specialists, the illustrations were made especially for this book and the maps were compiled on the basis of more than 40 years of records. This book is the first to offer keys for more than 60 species of ticks (both immature and adult) in the target territory. It also includes supplementary information with bibliographical details for each species.
