Der Herz-Wanderweg - ein Herzstück jeder gesunden Gemeinde und Tourismusregion Unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Alpenregion, inklusive ihres kulturellen Erbes wurden in den Pilotregionen Aschau im Chiemgau, Deutschland und Werfenweng in Österreich bestehende Wanderwege neu vermessen. Dieses Handbuch stellt den Leitfaden zur Implementierung eines 1 km-Cardio-Test-Trail in einer Gemeinde oder für eine Region dar, auf dem nach Vorgabe der BergFit-Test individuell für Gäste und Bewohner durchgeführt werden kann. Der BergFit-Test ist ein nach sportwissenschaftlichen Standards entwickelter Fitnesstest am Berg, zur Bestimmung der individuellen körperlichen Fitness (maximale Sauerstoffaufnahmefähigkeit ml/kg/min). Das Handbuch beinhaltet die Beschreibung des Gesamtkonzeptes von Connect2Move, die Durchführung des 1 km-BergFit-Tests und Implementierung der damit verbundenen Gesundheitsangebote vor Ort.
