Szczególny walor poznawczy książki leży w tym, że koncentruje się ona na problematyce zupełnie podstawowej – najkrócej i najtrafniej można by ją określić, mówiąc o naturze uczenia mimowolnego (chociaż pytanie o naturę należy do ontologii) – w przedstawionym oryginalnym zamyśle jej rozwiązania, konsekwentnym teoretycznym i empirycznym (dokładniej, eksperymentalnym) jego przeprowadzeniu, wreszcie w uzyskanym ostatecznie rezultacie.
