Ad oggi l’ambito del design per i bambini è poco indagato e i prodotti di qualità in produzione, rivolti a questo particolare pubblico sono ancora pochi. Il libro propone tre ambiti di intervento: il food packaging design, il care design e il living design. I progetti proposti, realizzati dagli studenti dei corsi di laurea in Design, all’interno del mio laboratorio sul design per i bambini, approfondiscono in particolare gli aspetti comunicativi legati all’interazione con i due tipi di utenti finali, gli adulti e i bambini in modo da migliorarla, rendendola più emozionale, empatica, piacevole, friendly e facilmente comprensibile. Progettare il volto delle istituzioni
Un racconto, attraverso il materiale raccolto negli anni e le esperienze di insegnamento sviluppate in Italia e all’estero, di come il “modo di presentarsi” influenzi la percezione che l’altro ha di noi, talvolta anche oltre il dovuto. Anche se “l’abito non fa il monaco”, infatti, in alcuni “habiti antichi et moderni”, è possibile individuare quegli elementi di riconoscimento che hanno consentito e consentono, ancora oggi, di esprimersi senza ricorrere alle parole. Nella parte conclusiva del volume, alcuni lavori i degli studenti dei corsi di Design e Moda dell’Università di Firenze che hanno ridisegnato le uniformi di alcune Istituzioni, mantenendone l’intrinseco messaggio di funzionalità, identità, rappresentanza, creatività e rigore. Blondine, the Pretty Doe and the Gallant Cat is an English translation of the French "Histoire de Blondine, Bonne-Biche e Beau-Minon", published in 1856 as part of the Countess de Ségur's "Nouveaux Contes de fées". This fairy tale, delightful for both adults and children, tells the misfortunes of a blonde princess, Blondine, who, having had a difficult time after her father King Benevolent remarried a wicked queen, finds herself lost in an enchanted forest. The story is sad but has a happy ending, and cleverly illustrates moral lessons that can serve as a lesson to us all.

San Francisco Probate, 1906-1942: Surnames starting with A-K
This is the first of two volumes that provide, for the first time in print, an index to the 108,898 names in the registers of San Francisco probate actions from 1906 to 1942. The first volume covers surnames beginning with A-K, and the second volume contains surnames starting with L-Z. Information was extracted from 179 registers of probate actions, each containing 500 pages. Included are names, aliases and minors' names representing over 85,500 probates and guardianship proceedings.
