ALS from Willis in Portland to "My dear Edwin," dated Apr. 18, 1867. The letter starts out: "The enclosed circular will tell its own story; any aid you may incline to give to our infant institution will be gratefully recieved," but mostly it is regarding old age and health, with poetry quotes. Includes imprint for letterhead: a "W" encircled.
